Here's a little-known gem that's been replicated over and over since: Pepper II. It's now a classic game-type of ensnaring your enemy in an area before he leaves that area. You play by encircling your enemy and if you make a full loop before he moves out of that area, you've defeated him.
I spent many an hour playing Pepper II on the Coleco-Vision. The game was challenging but never overly so. It's highly unlikely you'll have a Coleco Vision, but maybe your parents do. Or their parents. If you find one in an attic, pick up a copy of Pepper II on eBay and give it a go. It's fun!
There is no Pepper I. Does anyone know why this game was called Pepper II when it was the first in the series?
An earlier game, Amidar, developed this game type two years earlier.
