Indie superstar Super Meat Boy rocked gamers in late 2010, with its stunning soundtrack, replete with awesome guitar riffs and old-school charm. (Chapter 1 Boss theme for the win!)
Now those same gamers can enjoy the soundtrack in a whole new way: arranged by Brent Kennedy on piano.
Many RPG soundtracks are later transposed to piano, especially the Final Fantasy series of Japanese RPGs. Besides the Super Mario series of games, this is the only platformer that I know that has a piano soundtrack in addition to its regular version.
(Correct me if I’m wrong, please! I love game soundtracks and would love to listen to other ones that I’m not yet aware of!)
I just picked this up but haven’t had a chance to sit down and give it a listen. As I’m poring over gaming news on the Internets, I’ll do just that.
